Having grown up in York Amy decided she wanted to stay living and working in York. Amy studied her LLB Law in Leeds where she enjoyed taking on a number of additional roles on the Student Law Society and organising mooting competitions leading to a number of university awards. Amy then attended the College of Law, York for her Legal Practice Course. During her time studying she worked for LexisNexis, teaching staff and other students how to complete their legal research effectively using online resources. Amy also gained valuable experience working for an eminent Personal Injury Barrister which led her to a career in Clinical Negligence.

In Amy’s spare time she enjoys a variety of interests including motor sports, performing in local bands and musicals and swimming.
