Born and brought up in Lincoln, leaving in 1994 to attend university in Newcastle upon Tyne, Lisa gained a Politics degree. Upon graduation she began working at a firm of solicitors in Newcastle as a paralegal. She moved down to York in 1999, and in 2000 began her legal studies with the Institute of Legal Executives, qualifying as a Legal Executive in 2003.
